Guru ka Tal
A Pilgrimage place for Sikhs named Guru ka Tal is situated near Sikandra in the district Agra City, Uttar Pradesh. Guru ka tal has a great historical value too. It is dedicated to the memory of 9th Guru Sri Tegh Bahaadur Ji where he offered voluntary arrest to Aurangzeb, the Mughal Emperor. Visit Guru Ka Tal to know the history
In the premises earlier there were situated twelve towers but at present only eight towers have passed the test of time and survived. These towers with beautiful architecture have new been retrieved. It was built during the reign of Emperor Jahangir in 1610 AD. Rain water harvesting is the main reason behind building such reservoir.
Towers with precious stones
It was decorated with eye catching precious stone and ornamented beautifully like any other Mughals formation. It was used as a reservoir till the dates back to early 17th century. Saint Baba Sadhu Singh ji also named "Mauni" put his tremble efforts to build Gurudwara here. This Gurudwara was named Guru ka Tal over Guru Tegh Bahadur Singh and presence of reservoir also called Taal in local language.

The aura of building bears lots of similarities with many other marvelous Mughal structure like Red fort in Delhi and Agra fort in Agra etc. Several devotees gather every year to pay homage to the great Sikh Guru.
