Day 1 - Two Day Delhi Tour By Car Day 1: Old Delhi Exploration

Start your morning at 8 AM with a visit to the Red Fort, the grand palace where Mughal emperors lived. Spend about an hour and a half walking through its beautiful halls and gardens. After that, drive to Jama Masjid, India\'s largest mosque - you can climb the tower for amazing views of Old Delhi. Around 11 AM, take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk market. The narrow lanes are full of shops selling clothes, jewelry, and spices. Stop at Paranthe Wali Gali to try delicious stuffed parathas for lunch - this street is famous for over 100 years. After lunch, visit Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. It\'s a peaceful place with lots of trees and gardens. In the afternoon, head to Humayun\'s Tomb around 3 PM. This beautiful monument has red sandstone and white marble with lovely gardens all around. Spend an hour here taking photos. End your day at India Gate by 5 PM. This war memorial looks stunning when it lights up in the evening. You can sit on the lawns, eat ice cream, and watch people enjoying boat rides nearby. Have dinner at Connaught Place where you\'ll find many good restaurants serving Indian and international food.

Day 2 - Two Day Delhi Tour By Car Day 2: New Delhi Sightseeing

Begin day two at 8:30 AM by visiting Qutub Minar, the tallest brick tower in the world. Walk around the complex to see old ruins and the famous iron pillar that doesn\'t rust. Spend about an hour here. Next, drive to Lotus Temple around 10:30 AM. This white marble building shaped like a lotus flower is a place for meditation and prayer. It\'s very quiet and peaceful inside. After this, visit Akshardham Temple if it\'s not Monday (it stays closed on Mondays). The temple has beautiful carvings, fountains, and a boat ride that shows India\'s history. Have lunch at a nearby restaurant around 1 PM. In the afternoon, head to Rashtrapati Bhavan and drive past it to see where India\'s President lives. Stop at Vijay Chowk for photos with government buildings in the background. Then visit the National Museum or Crafts Museum if you want to learn more about Indian art and culture - spend an hour here. Around 4 PM, go shopping at Dilli Haat, an open-air market where you can buy handicrafts, clothes, and jewelry from different Indian states. Try some regional snacks here too. If you have time, drive through Lutyens Delhi to see the wide roads and colonial buildings. End your tour by 6 PM, or stay longer to explore markets like Sarojini Nagar or Lajpat Nagar for bargain shopping.
